Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many people thought that these days we have lot of preference. I think socail media and our society is the main reason to who many people have to much choices. I agree with this statment becuase every second person describe their choise every time.
when people watch the socail media they introduce by many famous places so people wished to tour that places bacuase raw bueaty is also very itractive. But famous places tour are not affordable for everyone. Recently my younger brother saw dictionary on tv and he watched montains of skurdu thats are fully coverd with snow and he fourcefully demand to visit that place but my father are not satisfied becuase there are many issuse for intance nowdays there are many cases of terorists in mountains.
Secondly, almost every person have a idiol and they want to copy her avery movemant. Many people mimic the celebratiese but Luminarys are milinors so they wear the clothes of expensive brands and pormote expensive things thats are not modest for middelclass people. My friend is a huge fan of famous footboller christiano ronaldo and he want to buy shose as it is. He collect their 6 month salary and buy shose afterthat he cannot anough money for their more eppencies.
I think this statment who nowadays we have many choices its 100% correct statment becuase i also have many wishes but i can't afford due to my enemployment. I think soacail media is main resoa of more than wishes.
In conclude, i think we change our mindest and also vhange our choices according to our society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that there are too many choices, citing social media and societal pressure as causes. However, the development of ideas is limited. The examples provided, such as the brother wanting to visit Skardu or the friend buying expensive shoes, are somewhat tangential and do not fully explore the broader concept of 'having too many choices' in a modern context. The position is clear, but the arguments lack depth and analytical rigor. To improve, you should focus on explaining the consequences of these choices (e.g., decision fatigue or anxiety) rather than just listing personal anecdotes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate (e.g., 'In conclude' instead of 'In conclusion', 'Secondly' used without a clear 'Firstly'). The transition between sentences is sometimes abrupt, and the logical flow is hindered by frequent grammatical errors that make it difficult to track the argument. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'their' when referring to a single person. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the ideas flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'socail', 'statment', 'becuase', 'eppencies', 'soacail') and word choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'raw bueaty', 'fourcefully demand', 'idiol', 'pormote'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas precisely. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the high frequency of errors and the reliance on basic, informal language prevent a higher score. You should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic words and expanding your range of collocations to better suit the formal tone required for Task 2.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement ('my father are', 'almost every person have'), article usage, and sentence structure. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the existing sentences are often fragmented or incorrectly punctuated. For example, 'I think this statment who nowadays we have many choices its 100% correct statment' is structurally confused. While some simple sentences are error-free, the persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation significantly impact the readability of the text. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is essential.
