Student answer (Band 5.0)

IN TODAY'S WORLD, EACH AND EVERY THING PROVIDES A LOT OF OPTIONS. PEOPLE FACE SO MANY OPTIONS REGARDING SHOPPING AND EDUCATION. I AGREE THAT CHOICES HAVE HUGE IMPACT ON EVERY PERSONS DECISION BUT SOMETIMES IN MAKE COMPLICATION TO CHOOSING THE RIGHT ONE. THIS ESSAY WILL ILLUSTRATES BOTH THE VIEWS AND MY PERSPECTIVE.

ON ONE HAND, THERE ARE MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILBLE FOR EDUCATIONAL PERPOSES STUDENTS HAVE MORE CHOICES RATHER THEN PAST YEARS WITH THE HELP OF IT STUDENT CAN CHOOSE THEIR DESIRE STREAM. MOREOVER, IN RESENT TIME PEOPLE GET MORE AND MORE CLOTHING BRANDS WHO PROVIDES CLOTHS ACORDIBG TO THE TREND SO PEOPLE FIND GREAT CLOTHES WITHOUT EXPLORATION BUT SOME TIMES IT SEEMS DEFECULT TO FIND SUTABLE ONE WITH LOT OF OPTIONS.

ON OTHER HAND, SOME STUDENTS GET CONFUSED AFTER EXPLORING SO MANY CHOICES ABOUT THEIR EDUCATION FIELD AND BECAUSE OF THIS SOME OF THEM CHOOSE WRONG FIELD RATHER THEN THE CORRECT ONE. AFTER GRADUATION THEY ALSO FACE CONFUSION BETWEEN JOB OPPORTUNITY SOME PEOPLE HAVE MANY JOINING OFFERS WITH GREAT SALARY PACKAGE AND THEY FACE MANY OPTICULS BETWEEN CHOOSING THEIR FUTURE DREAM JOB AND BECAUSE OF THIS MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE IN PAST YEARS CHOOSING JOB AND CAREER STREM IS EASY RATHER THEN RESENT TIME.

IN CONCLUSION, BOTH THE VIEWS ARE CORRECT BIT IT DEPENDES ON PERSON'S CHOICE IF THEY KNOW THEIR DESIRE THEY EASILY FOUNT WHAT THEY WANT. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE, MANY OPTION CAN BE HARMFUL AND CREATE STRESS AND EVENTUALY

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt but fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the score. While you present a clear position, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and the conclusion is incomplete, ending abruptly. The arguments regarding education and career choices are relevant, but they lack depth and specific examples to fully support your perspective. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure the essay is fully completed within the word limit. The under-length nature of the response prevents a higher score in this criterion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'On one hand', 'On other hand'). There are also issues with logical flow, particularly in the conclusion, which is unfinished and lacks a final, coherent summary. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, well-developed central idea that connects logically to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'AVAILBLE', 'PERPOSES', 'RESENT', 'ACORDIBG', 'DEFECULT', 'SUTABLE', 'OPTICULS', 'STREM', 'FOUNT') which occasionally impede readability. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with accurate collocations. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic words and try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms to express your ideas more precisely. Expanding your vocabulary through reading academic texts will help you use words in more natural contexts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'each and every thing provides', 'brands who provides'), incorrect word forms (e.g., 'choices have huge impact'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, and some sentences are poorly constructed, which makes the text difficult to follow at times. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement and article usage. Increasing your control over complex structures will also help improve your score.
