Student answer (Band 5.0)

Currently we have many choices it is believe by Many people.

I agree with the statement that nowadays we have many choices in everything because of modernization.

we have access to get various kind of things easily and rapid competition we have many options in each fields to fulfill our requirements and ease of technology people easily find things of their need compare to past and it is very useful too.

Due to fast life and significant development it is true we have many choices in various things.

we have many options in technology depends on the person what he prefers to have.

in apps there are many apps for same task and also many options in apps which provides similar services like in food delivery apps there is swiggy , zomato , toing and many more while for cab booking there are apps like ola ,uber , rapido so we have to choose a thing which is more relevant to us. we also have may options in social media apps then in the technology like in ear bud you can choose from either enc or anc ,while in vehicles we have options in petrol, electric and diesel vehicles so yeah we have many choices and options in every sector.

Overall i completely agrees with the statement that in present we have many option because it is true we do have many choices in every sector due to so much competition in each sector in my opinion it is true.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that we have too many choices today. However, the development is limited. While you provide relevant examples like food delivery and cab apps, the essay lacks a deeper exploration of the implications of these choices—such as the psychological impact or the 'paradox of choice.' The ideas are somewhat repetitive, focusing heavily on listing apps rather than analyzing the phenomenon. To improve, you should aim to provide a more balanced discussion or a more nuanced argument that explores why having too many choices might be considered a negative or positive development, rather than simply stating that they exist.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into short paragraphs, but the flow between sentences is often mechanical and disjointed. There is a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices; you rely heavily on simple conjunctions or start sentences abruptly. For example, the transition between the introduction and the body paragraph is weak. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the progression of ideas feels repetitive rather than building toward a logical conclusion. To reach a higher band, you should use a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is functional but basic. You use repetitive phrasing, such as 'many choices,' 'many options,' and 'many apps,' which limits the range of your expression. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'access to get various kind of things' and 'rapid competition.' To improve, you need to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to consumerism, technology, and decision-making. Avoid repeating the same words; instead, use synonyms and more sophisticated academic collocations to demonstrate a wider lexical range and better control over your word choice.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('it is believe by Many people'), punctuation (missing commas and inconsistent capitalization), and sentence structure (run-on sentences). You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, with very few attempts at complex grammatical forms. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and punctuation. Once you have a solid foundation, practice integrating complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences to demonstrate a wider range of grammatical control.
