Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention that technology provides choices, the arguments remain repetitive and lack depth. For example, you mention 'earning money' and 'career choices' in multiple places without fully exploring the implications of having 'too many' choices, such as the potential for decision fatigue or anxiety. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating the same general ideas about the internet and technology. The conclusion introduces new information about job issues in Pakistan, which is slightly tangential to the core prompt regarding the abundance of choice.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, which helps the overall structure. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. There is a lack of cohesive devices (linking words) to connect sentences and ideas logically. For instance, sentences like 'It is correct statement we have many choises now' lack a transition from the previous thought. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between the introduction, body, and conclusion is mechanical. To achieve a higher band, use a wider variety of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand' to guide the reader through your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, relying heavily on words like 'many', 'choices', and 'technology'. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'peoples' (people), 'choises' (choices), 'neccessary' (necessary), and 'avalibility' (availability). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. To improve, you should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and attempt to use a more varied range of vocabulary to express your ideas more precisely, rather than repeating the same simple adjectives and nouns throughout the essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies primarily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'every facilities are been provided'), missing articles, and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'become a engineer'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar limits the score. To improve, practice using complex sentence structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, and pay closer attention to pluralization and article usage.
