Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent era majority of people argue that there are many varities in products, whereas some people opposes their argument. I completely agree with this statement and would disscus the reasons in the essay.
On the one hand, there are numerous variety of food available in global market are surprising and there are some food items which did not existed in past decades. Moreover, various food products would lead to increase in use of raw materials which would obviously need more production of raw materials. Therefore, production of huge amount would be a issue because there would be shortage of raw materials, so people add synthetic products to complete the assignment given to them. For example, in villages the milkman do not have sufficient milk and dairy products for the villagers so they add water or synthetic material to fulfil the demand.
On the other hand, people oppose the argument because they think that various options in products would help them find a sutable product according to their needs. Therefore, people think having variety in products would help them at some extent. For example, women need beauty products in which they want a darker colour and non-synthetic products which can only be fulfiled by different choices, limited amount of choices would not help them to find the specific product. Mostly the products are bought online because there are many varities and people might find the specific product according to their want.
To conclude, having variety of products help people in buying produts for thier daily uses.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the supporting arguments are somewhat disjointed. For instance, the link between the variety of food and the use of synthetic materials is not fully explained or logically connected to the core issue of 'too many choices.' The second body paragraph attempts to provide a counter-argument but lacks depth, focusing more on specific examples like beauty products rather than the broader implications of consumer choice. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument that directly supports your thesis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, 'Therefore' is used repeatedly in a way that does not always logically follow the preceding sentence. Additionally, some transitions between ideas are abrupt, such as the shift from food production to the milkman example. The conclusion is also very brief and does not effectively summarize the main points or restate the position in a sophisticated way. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'varities', 'disscus', 'sutable', and 'produts'. Furthermore, some word choices are repetitive or imprecise, such as 'complete the assignment given to them' when referring to food production. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more academic collocations and ensuring accurate spelling. Expanding your vocabulary to include more topic-specific terminology related to consumerism and economics would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some people opposes'), article usage (e.g., 'in global market'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'at some extent'). While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain errors that affect the flow. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will help you move into a higher band.
