Student answer (Band 6.0)
Having many choices has became a challenging issues in many part of the world. Some believe that having a choice is much better in today's world. I am convinced with this notion and shall justify my opinion in the following paragraphs.
One reason to support my opinion is that if people get a choice in their life it will be easier for them to decide the best option suitable for them. If students get a choice in their education carrier it will be great for student to follow their passion and dreams. Just like if they didn't get a choice and have to follow the carrier what it is available in the surrounding then student might feel demotivated for choosing a different path. For instance; If some children wanted to study arts but the subject is not available in the society then they have to choose a option what is available weather its a doctor, engineer, lawyer and choosing different path will be difficult for them, so there maybe chances of being demotivated and unhappy at some point.
However, it is also thought that not having a choice in some point of the life is also beneficial for people because to many choices can also cause stress, problem and decision fatigue but despite of that having choices make easier for the people to choose. They got many more carrier opportunities than the proponents of people who don't have. More competition between businesses and will be easier for the consumer to choose the right one with the best deals.
In conclusion, having more choices will have more advantage for greater freedom and opportunities which outweigh the dis advantages of it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of having many choices. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide an example regarding education and career paths, the explanation remains repetitive and lacks depth. The counter-argument in the third paragraph is acknowledged but not fully integrated into a balanced discussion, as the transition back to your main point is abrupt. To improve, ensure that each supporting point is fully extended with specific, well-reasoned evidence rather than just restating the initial premise. The conclusion is brief and could more effectively summarize the main arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'One reason to support my opinion', 'However', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'despite of that' (which is grammatically incorrect) and 'proponents of people who don't have'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the third paragraph where the connection between business competition and consumer choice could be more smoothly linked to the main topic of having too many choices. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. You use basic terms like 'great', 'good', and 'bad' (implied), and there are several word-choice errors, such as 'education carrier' (should be 'career') and 'dis advantages' (should be 'disadvantages'). The phrase 'challenging issues' is also slightly imprecise in this context. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary and collocations, such as 'autonomy', 'overwhelming', or 'decision-making process', and ensure that spelling is accurate throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'has became' (should be 'has become'), 'in many part' (should be 'in many parts'), 'weather its a doctor' (should be 'whether it is a doctor'), and 'to many choices' (should be 'too many choices'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a stronger grasp of subject-verb agreement and prepositional usage.
