Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argue that nowadays, everyone has so many choices. Although I would strongly agree on this extent issue, when it comes to selecting a career , booking a hotel or selecting outfit for any occassion we have so many choices compare to our previous generation.
When it comes to selecting a career we have so many options to filter out subjects related to our passionate field. This is because we used to have limited number of courses available in current time due to technological advancment so many new programs introduced when it comes to selecting options, For instance , Engieering had created their so many branches , includes Artifical Intelligence, Data Science, and Automation Engieering, as a result so many talented people are getting a chance to explore new areas and knowledge.
Fashion desiging has also brought so many options using technology when it comes to selecting perfect outfit for sepecfic occassion, In other words when indiviuals had to go onsite market for shopping now we have option to select and buy clothes in online market, For example people can buy and find so many new design in online stores also, Consequently this bring so many options and choices and became convenince for us.
In conclusion, We can not disagree with this statement that current technological improvement and advancement, gave us so many choices in every aspect of field , selecting menus , staing in hotel when travelling or selec when in our daily life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that there are too many choices, providing examples in career and fashion. However, the development is limited. The ideas are presented in a somewhat repetitive manner, and the explanation of 'why' having too many choices is a negative or positive phenomenon is underdeveloped. The conclusion is fragmented and fails to synthesize the argument effectively. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments lack depth and the connection between the examples and the central thesis could be more robust to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'when it comes to'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas is abrupt. The final paragraph is particularly disjointed, with a list of words ('idea', 'explaiation', etc.) appearing to be notes rather than a coherent conclusion. This lack of smooth progression and effective paragraphing limits the score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several spelling errors, such as 'Engieering', 'sepecfic', 'occassion', and 'staing', which occasionally distract the reader. The range of vocabulary is somewhat narrow, relying on basic terms like 'so many' and 'options'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of precise or varied vocabulary prevents the essay from demonstrating a higher level of lexical control. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in punctuation, such as missing commas or incorrect placement, and grammatical slips like 'limited number of courses available in current time' and 'this bring so many options'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also problematic in several instances. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to suggest a lack of control over complex structures, keeping the score in the mid-range.
