Student answer (Band 5.5)
These days, few individuals opine the fact that in todays world peoples have so many options and choices. If questioned, I agree with this statement to a large extent. My preference will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs with valid reason and appropriate examples.
The fundamental reason for my inclinations is, competitions. Nowadays individuals are getting too much attracted with what others have and they don't. So, in situation of show casing others to be in competition to look and be better than others individuals are not able to stuck at something specific.
Moreover, supply of demanded products is constant. As in todays world everyone wants to do business and businessmen's knows, what public is looking for and they increase the supply of that specific products. For example, if someone is buying any kind of product which is getting on hype and everyone is looking for and there are options in that product like colour, shapes and more than demand of that product will be increased in the wholesale market.
Furthermore, getting too many options is also the major problem if individuals will get too many options then they will have too many choices likewise discussed in later paragraph.
However, there are some minor drawbacks of the same that getting many options confuse people and after seeing to many options sometimes at last individuals opt for something unlikely which is a basic human behaviour.
To conclude, it is good to have too many options and choices, by that individuals gets what they want but sometimes it proves to be worst to have too many choices.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the supporting arguments in the body paragraphs are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'competition' is not clearly linked to the concept of having 'too many choices.' Additionally, the argument regarding supply and demand is slightly tangential and does not fully explain why having many choices is a problem. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained reason that directly supports your thesis, providing concrete examples that illustrate the impact of excessive choice on daily life.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression between ideas is often weak. The use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or misused, such as 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore,' which do not always introduce a logical development of the previous point. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the sentence 'likewise discussed in later paragraph,' which refers to a section that does not exist. To improve, focus on using transition words that accurately reflect the relationship between your ideas and ensure that each paragraph flows naturally into the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'things,' 'products,' and 'options' throughout the text. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'individuals are not able to stuck at something specific' and 'businessmen's knows.' These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly difficult to follow. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'consumerism,' 'decision fatigue,' or 'variety,' and pay closer attention to word forms and pluralisation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your writing. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'businessmen's knows,' 'individuals gets'), punctuation (missing spaces after periods), and sentence structure (e.g., 'few individuals opine the fact that in todays world peoples have so many options'). While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty, leading to awkward phrasing. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for punctuation errors. Reducing the complexity of your sentences until you have better control over basic grammar will help improve your overall accuracy.
