Student answer (Band 4.5)

Its is widely believed that the majority of individual have lot of apportunities nowdays. I argued that in the present days that is most chances for skills people availible as compared to non skills woker.

I agree with some people who think that in currents time that is many choices in life . For instance one men or girls he was graduted in its university and after that they have many sectors to joining for organisation and educational department as cmpared to those people who did not learn the education . So the educated and skill people has increased his chance and more job offered in its life.

I am disagree with that reason life give only one chane to everyone i His life so more people is successful in that and many people dont attend and ignore that chance in laterally they are miss that time one of my friend who name is jawad ahmad he is completed her degree in medical lab technology and recived tne degree and that time the government announced the pathology department vaccancy and that time he does not goes for that job and after some time he dissopoint from her life because he has working since in private hospital and his monthly salary is less compared to government so that why my belive that the first chance is attent everone.

In conclusion, i sugget for everyone they can not wait for many chances in her life because some time the life never give you the second job.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether we have too many choices nowadays. The candidate takes a position agreeing that educated and skilled individuals have numerous opportunities, and later attempts to discuss the significance of taking the first chance presented. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times confusing. For instance, the reference to the friend Jawad Ahmad is intended to support the idea of seizing the first opportunity, but the argument becomes muddled and lacks clear logical progression. While the task is partially addressed and a position is stated, the ideas remain under-developed and would benefit from clearer elaboration and tighter focus on the core prompt. Therefore, a band score of 5.0 is appropriate as the task is only partially addressed with limited development.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay displays some structural organisation with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal coherence is frequently disrupted by abrupt shifts in focus and missing or incorrect cohesive devices. For example, transitions like 'I am disagree with that reason' and 'in laterally they are miss that time' create confusion and impede the smooth flow of information. Referencing pronouns are often ambiguous, making it difficult to follow which person or concept is being referred to. Overall, the cohesive devices are inaccurate and repetitive, placing this response firmly in the band 4.0 to 4.5 range, leading to a score of 4.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent word choice and spelling errors that occasionally strain the reader. Examples of restricted and inaccurate vocabulary include 'apportunities' instead of opportunities, 'nowdays', 'woker', 'currents time', and 'dissopoint'. The candidate attempts some less common terms such as 'pathology department vaccancy', but these are marred by spelling and collocation mistakes. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a simple message, but the high density of lexical errors restricts the score to a band 4.0, reflecting basic vocabulary and frequent errors that impede smooth reading.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatically, the response exhibits a very limited range of structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex sentences are almost entirely faulty, such as in the sentence 'For instance one men or girls he was graduted in its university and after that they have many sectors to joining...'. There are persistent, highly frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, tense consistency, prepositions, and pronoun case (e.g., 'Its is widely believed', 'I argued', 'has working'). Punctuation is also weak, with run-on sentences and a lack of capitalization at the beginning of sentences. Because errors are frequent and constantly cause difficulty for the reader, distorting meaning in several places, a band score of 4.0 is assigned.
