Student answer (Band 5.5)
A group of people argues that in today world, we have many options.
I completely agree to this statement because in todays globalized world, we have many fields such as Artificial Intelligence, social media, big educational institutions, more civilized generation, several kinds of jobs.
So no matter what type of choices you are talking about. There are many reasons that depict my statement. For example, we have options in almost every aspect of life either it is about selecting your job, choosing a country to move overthere, choosing a best school for your child, choosing a business and son.
First of all, I can give my example from my experience. When I completed my graduaction, I was overwhelmed with what should i do next because i needed a job as soon as possible. Then I got to know about a social media application called "LINKEDIN". I just posted my CV on my account and soon i got a job offer letter in Europe.
This is because nowadays, we have a couple of options to find a job. However, some people my contradict this statement. The reason may be their lack of acknowledgement. Mostly the people who live in rural areas, dont get chances because they are less familier to the modrenized world. They have no idea that how to get better opportunity.
Finally, it is cleared that the more you get attach to this modren world, the more opportunities you will get in every fielef of your life. In short, it is you, who can avail the choices in several aspects of life nowadays.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response successfully addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing that we have too many choices nowadays. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as options in careers, technology, and lifestyle, fulfilling the basic requirements of the prompt. However, some ideas are under-developed or remain somewhat superficial. For instance, the mention of Artificial Intelligence and a civilized generation in the introduction is not explored further in the body paragraphs. The personal example regarding LinkedIn provides a relevant illustration of job market choices, but the reasoning regarding rural populations generalizing a lack of acknowledgment is brief and lacks deeper elaboration. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to fully extend and support all main points with more comprehensive examples and detailed explanations throughout the body.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a discernible introduction, body, and conclusion, allowing the reader to follow the writer's central argument. Paragraphing is attempted, and transitional markers such as 'First of all', 'For example', and 'Finally' are employed to guide the reader through the text. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the sentence fragments and abrupt transitions between ideas, such as starting a sentence with 'So no matter what type of choices you are talking about', disrupt the natural flow. Additionally, referencing is not always clear, and the logical progression between sentences occasionally falters, resulting in a somewhat disjointed structure. Improving the sophistication of cohesive devices and ensuring smoother paragraph transitions would enhance the overall readability.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully communicating everyday concepts and attempting less common vocabulary items such as 'globalized world', 'overwhelmed', and 'modernized world'. However, there are noticeable limitations in lexical precision and word choice. Examples of inaccurate word formation and collocation include phrases like 'graduaction', 'son' instead of 'so on', 'familier', and 'fielef'. Spelling errors also occur intermittently, such as 'modren', though they rarely impede overall communication. To move to a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire, exercise greater precision in word choice and collocations, and eliminate basic spelling and word-form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to use varied structures like subordinate clauses in sentences such as 'When I completed my graduaction, I was overwhelmed with what should i do next'. However, there are persistent errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles, incorrect prepositions, and faulty punctuation within sentences like 'For example, we have options in almost every aspect of life either it is about selecting your job, choosing a country to move overthere, choosing a best school for your child, choosing a business and son.' While these errors occur regularly, they rarely impede communication. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to demonstrate better control over complex sentence structures, articles, and punctuation while reducing the frequency of basic grammatical slips.
