Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many individuals think that modern lifestyle offers an excessive number of choices. l agree with this view because technological advancements have expanded educational opportunities and created new ways for individuals to earn money.
To begin with modern technology has increased learning opportunities. This is because students can access free educational platforms and use social media as a source to learn new skills and gain knowledge from the comfort of their home. As a result students can acquire knowledge without paying expensive tuition fees or spending money on transportation, making educational more accessible to those who live far from educational institutions. For example Duolingo is a platform for learning a new languages-learning platform that helps users learn languages such as English. It provide interactive exercises that can make learning grammar easier. In my own experience, digital learning resources have helped me prepare for the IELTS examination and improved my grammatical accuracy.
Modern society also offers numerous number of opportunities to earn money. This is because online marketsplaces such as Amazon allow individuals to establish online stores and sell products to customers without renting a physical shop. As a result, individuals can reduce their stat-up costs and reach a wider audience, allowing them to generate income without investing heavily in a physical business. For example my brother started working online though amazon. later, he generate a huge audience without even going a step out from home.
To conclude, l agree that modern society offers too any choices because technology has expanded educational opportunities and created various ways to earn money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion: you agree that modern life offers many choices, and you give two relevant areas—education and earning money. The examples of using digital learning resources for IELTS preparation and your brother selling through Amazon help connect the discussion to experience. However, the response does not fully explain why these examples demonstrate an excessive number of choices, rather than simply greater access or convenience. The education point is more developed, while the online-business example is brief and its outcome is not clearly explained. To strengthen the response, explain the impact of having so many options and develop both examples with specific details that directly support your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion that restates your position. The progression from education to income opportunities is easy to follow, and phrases such as “As a result” help show cause and effect. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and also shows some features of stronger progression. However, the repeated “This is because” and “As a result” pattern makes the links somewhat mechanical. Some sentences also contain several ideas, which weakens the flow, and the Amazon example moves quickly from starting a business to gaining an audience. Use a wider range of linking methods and make the relationship between each example and its main point more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “educational opportunities,” “tuition fees,” “online stores,” and “generate income.” These expressions make the main ideas clear, and you attempt more specific language when describing digital learning and business. Some word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors reduce precision, however: “numerous number of opportunities” is redundant, “educational more accessible” is not the intended form, and “stat-up costs” appears to be a misspelling. There are also awkward phrases such as “without going a step out from home.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and proofread spelling. More precise vocabulary for the effects of choice, such as flexibility or competition, would also help develop the argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect clauses such as “This is because students can access…” and a result clause beginning “allowing them to generate income.” Most of the meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. For example, “It provide” needs subject–verb agreement, “a new languages” has an article and plural mismatch, and “he generate” needs the correct past-tense form. Missing commas after introductory phrases and inconsistent capitalisation also affect accuracy. Review agreement, articles, plurals, and verb tense, then check punctuation in longer sentences. These corrections would make your varied sentence structures more controlled and easier to read.
