Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that individuals have too many choises nowadays. They can make decisions for particular things that they want to own it. From my perspective, I stongly agree with this view becasue people are independant to take decisions and make choices according to their needs such as they have freedom to select their favourite study program or purchase their favourite products.
The primary reason for my opinion is that Individuals have complete freedom to select their desire program in the unversity. The University offering a various program but students have a choise they can select their favourite field. For example, a student wants to get admission in the university, they have several options such as IT, finaance, engineering. They have choice to select their desire program in which they can perfom well. Therefore, nowadays people have too many choices and they can select the best one according to their needs and interests.
Another significant reason for my opinion is that people also have too many choices whenever they want to purchase something. Although, there are various substitute products are avilaible in the market, some products are cheeper and others are expensive. But may be both product providing a same features. For instance, If a person wants to buy a new car, there are several brands avilaible in the marekt and they are offering wide range of car variety. But they have choice to select there favourite option according to their needs and funds.
In conlusion, I firmly believe that people have significant number of choices in every aspect of life. Whether they wants to get admission in the university or they wants to purchase some thing. They have freedom to make their choices according to their needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that people have many choices, and the conclusion restates this view. Both body paragraphs give relevant examples—choosing a university programme and selecting a car—so the response addresses the question. However, the discussion is more illustrative than analytical. The education paragraph explains that students can choose a field, but does not explore why the range is excessive or what consequences it has. Similarly, the car example mentions price and features without developing how this supports your view. To strengthen the response, explain the significance of these choices and develop at least one example in greater depth.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “The primary reason,” “Another significant reason,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. However, some connections are mechanical, and a few references are unclear. For example, “Although, there are various substitute products are available” does not connect smoothly to the following point, while “both product” leaves the reader unsure which products are being compared. The conclusion also repeats the examples rather than drawing the argument together. Use linking expressions more naturally and make pronouns and comparisons explicit to improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “freedom,” “options,” “substitute products,” and “according to their needs and interests.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, but the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “choises,” “stongly,” “unversity,” and “cheeper.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “select their desire program” and “wide range of car variety” do not express the intended meaning idiomatically. Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for educational and consumer choices would make the discussion clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a concession beginning “Although.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms recur. For example, “The University offering a various program” needs a finite verb and a different article structure, while “there are various substitute products are available” incorrectly combines two verb patterns. In “Whether they wants,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence is left as a dependent clause. Practise building complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, especially in longer sentences.
