Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, availability of everything so easily has become a widely debated issue. Some people think that we have too many options these days and I completely agree to this opinion. This essay will discuss the reasons for my viewpoint.
There are several reasons that favour this view of access to too many choices nowadays. The primary reason is awareness due to socail media. For example, students in past had only limited choice to choose their profession either medical or engineering but nowadays they are fully allowed to persue anything according to their passion and interest. If a student wants to become an artist, he will persue this profession as a career. Due to increasing awareness amony parents, they fully allow their children to explore their careers according to their personal preferances.
Another compelling reason is globalisation. This can be attributed to the fact that due to advanced technology, globalisation has increased world wide. This allows easy access to everything. For example, if a person wants to buy something like mobile phone, he will have plenty of options to explore in his own city. By contrast, in past, if someone wanted to buy something, he would not have too many options to explore. Therefore, life become more easy nowadays.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that nowadays people are open to too many choices due to awareness through internet and globalisation. In short, advanced technology and online era has impacted our daily life alot and given access to almost everything.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I completely agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give two relevant reasons, greater awareness and globalisation, and support them with examples about career choices and buying a mobile phone. This addresses the task, but the discussion is not equally developed: the career example mainly shows that choices have expanded, without explaining why this creates too many choices or what difficulties that may cause. The shopping example is also brief, and the essay does not consider a counterpoint or clarify the extent of your agreement beyond stating it. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of having many options and develop each example with more specific reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from awareness to globalisation is easy to follow, and signposts such as “For example,” “By contrast,” and “In conclusion” help readers recognise the stages of the argument. This shows sound organisation and some effective linking. However, transitions can feel formulaic, and the relationship between the examples and the claim that choices are excessive is not always made explicit. The phrase “This allows easy access to everything” is broad, while “Therefore” introduces a conclusion that is not fully explained. Make links between claims and evidence more precise, and use referencing and transitions in a less repetitive, more natural way.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “globalisation,” “awareness,” “advanced technology,” and “personal preferences,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts to vary expression through phrases such as “primary reason” and “compelling reason.” However, some word choices and collocations are awkward or imprecise, including “availability of everything so easily,” “fully allowed,” and “life become more easy.” Spelling errors such as “socail,” “persue,” and “preferances” also reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable range of natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precise phrases such as “a wider range of options” would express your ideas more clearly than broad wording like “everything.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If a student wants to become an artist, he will…” and a contrast clause beginning “By contrast.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, and errors do not generally prevent understanding. Some grammatical inaccuracies remain, however: “I completely agree to this opinion” has an incorrect preposition pattern, “life become more easy” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “advanced technology and online era has impacted” has a plural subject with a singular verb. There are also article and sentence-control issues in phrases such as “in past.” Review agreement, articles, and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
