Student answer (Band 4.5)

The unparalleled significance of the belive and ideolgy of some peoples about oppertunities and other options in nowdays. Because, as comparison in the past decades peoples have not many oppertunities in the career and in the life style as in nowdays. If choices and options are more so the chances of success was increases. In my prespective, I agree with this statment because, I have also a close relevence about the many choices in life.

Many choices means there are lot of options to do in career and for the survival of life. In the past era the world was not as much developed and digitalized, because the ratio of poverty and assets are to much less. Peoples in past decades are also living in simplicity because they donot have great exposure about any thing. And the major effect of lack of choices in the past is people do not have gut to take any sort of risk in the life. But the great thing, I adore about the encient peoples they are not a negative clever and not a liar.

On the other hand, know a days people have great number of oppertunities. In current era the world has totally changed.

Because, the have decide to do some thing new so ther are lot of opportunities and choices to do any thing. The world almost changes and almost developed and the thinking of the peoples of know a days have totally diffrent. So, this is the the main reason of the change in the believe of the current genration.

In my oppinion, I have also great belive on the choices in nowdays. I am totally agreed with the statment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a position—“I agree with this statement”—and keep returning to the idea that modern life offers more opportunities than the past. This is relevant to the question, but the response only minimally develops the argument. It does not clearly explain why having many choices is beneficial or whether there can also be disadvantages, and the claim that more options increase “the chances of success” is not supported with a specific example. The discussion of people in the past and their attitudes to risk is also broad and only loosely connected to whether there are too many choices today. To strengthen the response, explain what “too many” means, develop one or two reasons, and support them with a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a concluding statement, and phrases such as “On the other hand” signal a shift in focus. However, the ideas are not arranged in a consistently clear progression. The opening sentence is difficult to connect to the next point, and the second body paragraph moves from past poverty and simplicity to risk-taking and then to a comment about honesty without explaining the links. Repeated references to “choices” and “opportunities” do not always advance the argument, while “Because” begins standalone sentences that depend on what came before. Organise each paragraph around one clear reason, use linking phrases only where the relationship is clear, and make references between sentences explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “opportunities,” “exposure,” “developed,” and “risk,” and you use some variation rather than relying on a single term throughout. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or misspelled choices make the message harder to follow. Examples include “belive,” “oppertunities,” “encient peoples,” and “negative clever,” the last of which does not communicate a clear meaning. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “for the survival of life” and “great number of opportunities.” Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; prefer precise expressions such as “career options,” “make a living,” and “a wide range of choices.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “In the past era the world was not as much developed and digitalized, because…” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and frequent errors in sentence formation, tense, agreement and punctuation sometimes obscure the intended meaning. “If choices and options are more so the chances of success was increases” combines incompatible verb forms, while “the ratio of poverty and assets are” has an unclear grammatical relationship and agreement problem. Several sentences begin with “Because” but are left as fragments, and commas are often placed where a full stop or clearer clause structure is needed. Practise building complete sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and tense consistency.
