Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued by people that in this contemporary world individuals have to many choices. The way i can see it its very useful to have so many options in terms of employment, academic, political views but not essential. The main reason is that in these days people faces numerous challenges in their lives due to this individuals stuck at the same loop of life. I am strongly agree about so many opportunities we have in these days.

In my perspective, people have numerous options in terms of earn money, employment, migration, network globally. I think that people can earn money in numerous fields. In present, everything is digitalised even though food delivered at your door step buy one click. People can earn through multiple field. For instance, people can earn through drive their car even though there is a numerous apps to book rides. Self employment is far easy as if I compared it with back in times where options was limited.

Despite this, every picture have two sides. If people have too many options so they have to face numerous challenges in this modern world. They have to update their skills according to the trends. By this means if they update their skills according to the demand of the market they face less hassle and then become a competent user. Infants can go to basic coding workshops. People do unpredictable things in these days that elderly do not imagine.

To conclude, I am agree with the beliefs of the people the main reason behind this the technology of this world. It can clearly be seen that due to this digitalisation the proportion of labour rise with the passage of time and will be more surge in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that having many choices is useful, and you mention relevant areas such as employment, earning money and digital services. The example of earning through ride-booking apps helps illustrate how technology has expanded work options. However, the position is not fully consistent: you first say choices are “very useful … but not essential,” then state that you “strongly agree” that there are many opportunities, without clearly answering whether having too many choices is a problem. The discussion of challenges—updating skills and people’s behaviour—needs a clearer link to the question and more explanation. Develop a focused argument about whether the number of choices is excessive, and support each main point with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group related ideas. Transitions such as “Despite this” signal a contrast, while “For instance” introduces an example. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the central argument shifts between the benefits of choice and the challenges it creates without explaining how these support your final position. Some links are unclear, for example, the move from updating skills to infants attending coding workshops. The conclusion introduces a claim about the proportion of labour rising that has not been established earlier. Make each paragraph develop one clear point, use linking phrases only where the relationship is clear, and ensure the conclusion summarises the argument already presented.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “employment,” “migration,” “digitalised,” “self employment” and “competent,” which allows you to discuss work and technology. There are also attempts to express more complex ideas, such as “update their skills according to the trends.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “stuck at the same loop of life,” “earn through multiple field,” and “the proportion of labour rise.” Repetition of “numerous” and “in these days” also limits flexibility. Choose more natural expressions and check whether nouns and verbs combine idiomatically. For example, describe people as being “caught in the same routine,” and refer to “a wider range of job opportunities” rather than using vague or awkward phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if they update their skills … they face less hassle,” and your meaning is generally recoverable. However, errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns and in attempts at complex sentences. Examples include “people faces,” “I am strongly agree,” “every picture have,” and “options was limited”; these show problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “there is a numerous apps” and “In present, everything is digitalised even though food delivered at your door step buy one click.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them with clear conjunctions. Proofread for agreement, articles and complete verb phrases.
