Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a position—“I partly agree”—and give relevant examples about career paths and business options, so the response does address the topic. However, the explanation remains very limited: the career example is difficult to follow, and the list of “sector, food sector, machinel sector” does not clearly show how these choices affect people. The opposing side promised by “In contrast” is not developed, and the response ends before your position is fully explained. The required minimum of 250 words is not met; at 108 words, there is not enough development to address the task adequately. To improve, explain both why choices are plentiful and where they may be limited, then support each point with a clear example and a concluding judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening states your view, “To embark on” introduces a supporting point, and “In contrast” signals a different perspective. These markers show awareness of how to guide the reader. However, the ideas are not arranged into a complete, coherent argument. The second paragraph repeats the point about career choices, while the examples about sectors and running a business are not clearly connected to the main claim. The final “In contrast” has no following explanation, leaving the progression unfinished. Use separate paragraphs for your main reasons, explain how each example supports its point, and add a conclusion that restates your qualified position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “choices,” “career,” “business,” and “options,” and the wording generally makes your subject recognisable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, with “individuals” and “human beings” repeated instead of more precise terms. Frequent spelling errors—such as “chices,” “moderen,” “carrer,” and “buisness”—make the writing less clear and weaken control of vocabulary. Some expressions are also unclear or unsuitable, including “human beings choices” and “run any buisness.” Build a small bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “career paths,” “employment opportunities,” and “business ventures” would help you express the argument more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and a longer conditional sentence, as in “if they fail to achieve it thek can chooses another path.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the sentence contains problems with clause punctuation and verb form, and the meaning is not fully clear. Other examples include “people have too many choices” followed by “there are many choics but not in all fields,” where the relationship between the ideas is not developed into accurate sentence structures. Most sentences follow a simple pattern, so the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction and punctuation occur often enough to affect clarity. Practise accurate conditional forms, such as “If they fail to achieve their goal, they can choose another path,” and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
