Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, technological advancement leads to make this world looks like a global village. As it is considered that this latest era providing us more choices in every aspect of life in comparison with our ancestors. I firmly agree with the notion that recent world provide us with plenty of options to choose accordingly.
One of the compelling reason to support this thinking is that in this present century human's vitnessed a numerour transfornation in every single field of life. For instance, one can observe that how uniquely the means of coveying the messages changed with the passage of time and this tranformation just eveolve the remarkable technology know as mobile phone which started as a simple wired telephone whoch was only used to trasmit the voice but now you can not only make a video call but do other works on the same device. So, the latest devices provide you a lot options like caemra, digital media, torch, calendar, calls, calculator etc in single tiny and smart device.
Moreover, the modern society also have more options in other aspects of life than the older ones. For example, in recent time one can buy a variety of clothes in a country even though they belongs to any part of the world but the mode of transportation and industrial revolution make it easier to supply these artifects under one roof for the human beings.
On the other hand, while having a remarkable changes and constructive addition towards the society by these technological innovation, there are some critical issue to be addressed to mitigate the challenges posed by pollution and destruction casued by this development to the natural ecosystem of the earth.
In conclusion, by adapting the new innovations and discoveries, we can provide all the necessory amenties to the society allowing them to choose according to their choices and preferences, we should also focus on the other side of the coin; as the concequences are unimaginable and irreversible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that people today have more choices, and the examples of mobile-phone functions and clothing availability are relevant to this view. The conclusion also returns to your main position while acknowledging possible costs of technological development. However, the discussion does not fully explore what having “too many” choices means: most of the response shows that options have increased, rather than explaining whether their number is excessive or how this affects people. The point about pollution is relevant as a drawback of development, but its connection to the question of choice is not made clear. Develop that distinction and explain the consequences of abundant choice to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. The progression from technology to consumer choices is generally understandable, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “On the other hand” help guide the reader. However, some links are mechanical or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas. In particular, the paragraph about pollution shifts from the benefits of choice to environmental harm without explaining how this qualifies your position. The long mobile-phone example also contains several points in one sentence, making the sequence harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and divide extended examples into shorter, logically connected sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “technological advancement,” “industrial revolution,” “ecosystem,” and “irreversible,” and the main ideas are usually understandable. However, inaccurate word forms, spelling and collocations often make the expression less natural, as in “human's vitnessed a numerour transfornation” and “provide us a lot options.” Some phrases are also imprecise: “constructive addition towards the society” does not clearly convey the intended benefit, while “artifects” is not the right word for clothes. These issues fit a response with some useful range but inconsistent control. Prioritise accurate, natural combinations such as “offer a wider range of options” and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “while having…” and clauses introduced by “which” and “even though.” However, control is inconsistent, particularly in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction. For example, “this latest era providing us” lacks a finite verb, and “the modern society also have” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening sentence, “technological advancement leads to make this world looks,” also combines verb patterns incorrectly. Some long sentences, especially the mobile-phone example, become difficult to process because clauses are joined without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
