Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowdays, people have more choices than ever before in every aspect of life, including education, shopping, entertainment, careers. While having too many options offers several benefits, and I am strongly agree with it, because people can choose easily what they want in almost every field of life. So in this essay I will give my reason and some extents of agree or disagree.
On the one hand, there are lot of benefits of having many choices in several fields. In shopping field nowadays people have large no. of variety of option to buy something from themselves and also for their peers, they can bought easily from online because there are lot of option available in online mart, we can easily get something whatever we want, In addition education field is also provide a large number of option where we want to study online or offline moreover in online option we can choose teacher for which teacher we want to learn this subject and this is very interesting to having this option.
On the other hand, too many options can make decision-making difficult. When people have numerous alternatives, they may spend a considerable amount of time comparing them instead of making decision. For instance, if someone wants to watch a movie at streaming platform, they may browse hundreds of movies and waste time to thought that which movie I should watch, so that is waste of time and cause frustration. Sometimes people regret their decision because of there is lot of options so they may confuse.
In conclusion, although having different options provides freedom and flexibility, I believe that too many options may create confusion. So, this can cause stress or anxiety.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the issue and give a recognisable position: the introduction supports having many choices, while the conclusion acknowledges that too many can cause confusion and stress. The shopping and education examples are relevant, and the streaming example explains a drawback. However, your overall stance is not fully consistent: “I am strongly agree with it” appears to support the statement that there are too many choices, but the following explanation praises choice. The benefits are also listed more than developed, and the education example does not clearly show why choice is beneficial. State precisely whether you agree that choices are excessive, then explain and support that position consistently throughout, with fuller examples and reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph presenting benefits, a paragraph discussing drawbacks, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the shift between viewpoints, and the streaming example follows the point about difficult decisions. However, progression within the first body paragraph is less controlled: shopping and education are joined in a long sequence, so the relationship between the ideas is not always clear. The introduction also promises “some extents of agree or disagree,” which does not clearly guide the reader. Use shorter, more focused sentences, make each paragraph develop one main point, and use references such as “these options” only when their meaning is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “alternatives,” “decision-making,” “flexibility,” “frustration,” and “anxiety.” These terms help communicate both the advantages and disadvantages of choice. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “options,” “choices,” and “field,” while several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, including “large no. of variety of option,” “online mart,” and “waste time to thought.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “Nowdays” and “confuse” also reduce precision. Build a more varied set of topic-specific expressions and check collocations and forms; for example, use “a wide range of products,” “online retailers,” and “become confused.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast structure beginning “While having too many options…” and a conditional example beginning “if someone wants to watch a movie.” However, complex sentences are often not controlled successfully, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Examples include “I am strongly agree,” “people can bought,” and “education field is also provide,” which show problems with verb forms and sentence structure. There are also errors with articles, plurals, and agreement, as in “a large no. of variety of option.” Practise forming complete sentences with one clear main clause, then check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and articles before adding subordinate clauses.
