Student answer (Band 5.5)

In today's world, some people think that they have lot of choices in every aspect of life. They consider too many options in everything in society. I strongly agree with that point but there might be some limitations in few cases.

In fact, It is true that there are so many options for everything. The economic world has increased to a huge extend . Lots of new things have introduced in the market including different products for businesses. So the entrepreneur can have many options for a new beginnig. With time, the choices for business increases so high. The global market has introduced so many new products that might be sometimes difficult for a beginners to decide.

Similarly, the technology has grown up to high level in past few years. Now, it is also difficult for the online business holders to decide for their work. Specially, the students face so much struggle to choose their subject and course. It is because technology increases to high level , and this action leads to the growth of new education stuff. Moreover, there are lots of choices for our daily use goods icluding clothing, vehicles, and many other examples. This might be confusing sometimes.

But on the other hand, situation is not same for everybody. In some cases, people completely bound with their families . So they can get some restriction in various cases .

In conclusion, I agree with the point that with time and advancement in technology and economic growth, more option begins for many aspects, But it cannot be avail by all humans.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that modern life offers too many choices, while acknowledging that some people face restrictions. You support this view with relevant areas such as business, education, technology and everyday goods, so the response addresses the question. However, several points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the link between technological growth and students’ difficulty choosing courses is mentioned, but a specific consequence or example would make the reasoning more convincing. The paragraph about family restrictions is also brief and does not explain how this qualifies your overall agreement. Develop fewer examples in greater depth and clarify whether your agreement is strong or qualified to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to supporting points, a qualification and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps distinguish the main ideas, and transitions such as “Similarly,” “Moreover,” and “But on the other hand” signal relationships between them. At times, however, the progression feels list-like: business options, technology, education and consumer goods are added without a clear explanation of how each advances the central argument. Some references are also unclear, as in “this action leads to the growth of new education stuff,” where the reader must infer what “this action” means. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples explicitly to it; clearer referencing would make the cohesion less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global market,” “entrepreneur,” “technology,” and “restriction,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “choices,” “options,” “things,” and “so many.” Several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “economic world has increased to a huge extend,” “beginners” for people starting a business, and “bound with their families.” Spelling errors such as “beginnig” and “icluding” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check common word partnerships; for instance, describe the market as “expanded” and explain that consumers may be “overwhelmed by the range of products.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrastive clause in “But on the other hand, situation is not same for everybody.” Most sentences communicate the intended point, but some grammatical errors recur and occasionally make the relationships between ideas less clear. Examples include missing articles in “they have lot of choices” and “for a new beginnig,” subject–verb agreement in “the choices for business increases,” and verb-form problems in “Lots of new things have introduced.” There are also punctuation and spacing issues, such as the missing space after “years.” Work on articles, agreement and verb forms, then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation. More accurate complex sentences would help you express the qualifications in your argument clearly.
