Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response gives a general position that people now have multiple choices, and it offers relevant examples involving remote work, online job platforms, creative careers, and technology replacing some roles. However, the extent of agreement is not clearly established: “In my opinion, i believe” is repetitive and does not explain whether you agree fully or partly. The ideas are also only briefly stated, with little explanation of how they demonstrate that people have too many choices. The final point about technology replacing jobs is introduced but not connected clearly to the main argument. The response is 105 words below the required minimum, so it cannot develop the reasons and examples sufficiently. State your position directly, then explain and support each main reason.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response, including an opening, a paragraph beginning “To start with,” and a final point introduced by “Finally.” These markers help the reader recognise some structure. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the relationship between the ideas is not made clear. For example, the discussion moves from remote jobs to arts and crafts, then to technology replacing careers, without explaining how each point supports the same argument about having too many choices. Some linking words, such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore,” are used to add information but do not show the precise connection between ideas. Use separate, focused body paragraphs and add explanation or referencing to connect each example to your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “remote jobs,” “financial support system,” “career chances,” and “routine” roles. This gives the reader a general sense of the subject, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. For instance, “availability of choices is readily common” is an awkward way to describe the issue, while “persuae their job” does not communicate the intended meaning clearly. There are also spelling errors such as “signficant,” “techolongy,” and “artificial technology.” Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling carefully; accurate expressions such as “career opportunities” and “artificial intelligence” would make the argument clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and some longer structures, such as “Moreover, remote jobs make the environment better and build a financial support system.” However, the range remains limited, and errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “A individual,” “There are no restrictions of time and select time as they suited,” and “technology replace routine.” The sentence beginning “Such as” is also incomplete, rather than being joined to a main clause. Pay particular attention to articles, subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and complete sentence structure. Practising clear complex sentences with a main clause and a supporting clause would help you express relationships between ideas more accurately.
