Student answer (Band 5.5)
it is often argued that this last generation has too much opportunities, in my opinion i totally agree with this statement says , however i believe that it still depends on a person's proffessional career and his descipline .
the primary reason why i agree is that nowadays we see a diversity in jobs in contrast to older generations , i think this is due to social media and advertising , we see a lot of i-commerce opportunities , new work ideas and the choices about it clothing, food ,decoration , tourism and way more upcoming ideas , as a result, a person now has the complete control to choose the field that intrests him the most to make a succesfull career and improve his creative side unlike in the past there was limited positions .
another significant reason for my position is that my generation's main reason to have this many choices is being productive ,desciplined , hardworkers and having the proffessional degrees that provide them the liberty to choose whatever suits their intrests and this owing to university's diffrent courses and training programs for example in artificial intelligence , sewing couture programs, web devloper , 3D graphics , this opened a big market of choices.
in conclusion,i agree with the view that we have unlimited choices in work and choosing your career's opportunities due to a person's motivation and social media help .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people now have many choices, particularly in careers, and you give relevant examples such as artificial intelligence, web development and couture sewing. However, the response addresses the question only partially because it focuses mainly on career options, while the prompt asks more broadly about choices in modern life. The opening also introduces a qualification—that this depends on a person’s career and discipline—which is not explained later. Your reasons need fuller development: explain how social media expands options or why having more choices is beneficial, and support this with a specific example. The response is also 16 words below the required minimum, so add relevant development rather than padding.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs generally group related points, and phrases such as “the primary reason” and “another significant reason” help signal the argument. However, progression within the body paragraphs is not always clear: the first moves from jobs to social media, then to clothing, food and tourism, before returning to careers. The second combines productivity, qualifications, university courses and market growth without clearly showing how each point connects. Some linking is mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats the opening. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it in sequence, and use clearer references to connect examples to that claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “diversity in jobs,” “professional degrees,” “training programs” and “creative side.” These choices show an effort to discuss modern work and education, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts less clear. For example, “this last generation” is not a natural way to refer to people today, and “choices about it clothing” is difficult to interpret. Repeated use of “choices” and “opportunities” also limits precision. Check spelling carefully, and learn common combinations such as “career opportunities” and “a wide range of options.” More precise vocabulary for non-career choices would also help address the full topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences using clauses and connectors, for example, “as a result” and “unlike in the past,” but control is inconsistent. Several sentences run together or lack clear grammatical structure, particularly the opening sentence and the long sentence beginning “the primary reason why i agree.” There are also errors in agreement and sentence formation, such as “this last generation has too much opportunities” and “this opened a big market of choices.” Capitalisation and punctuation are frequently inaccurate, including lowercase “i” and missing spaces after commas. These issues sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate subordinate clauses and punctuation.
