Student answer (Band 5.0)
A certain section of society opine that nowadays people have too many choices. In my opinion, i partially agree with the statement because individuals have their own choice, my views for this statement will be examine below.
On the one hand, supporters of this statement claim that present day people have various choices. In other words, they have many choices due to social media. For instance, nowadays individuals influence by social media and change their personality according others and have different choice. Another reason for this trend is people wants to be different from others foe that they change their self or personality. As a result, more people influence by them and change their taste for that nowadays people have various choices to settle in this generation. Another reason is that people wants to be centre of attraction for that they look for different types of clothes to become unique.
On the other hand of this statement, individuals do not want to change their self for that they have same choice for many years. For example, grey generation do not change their self according todays generation they as it is as in past , they do not like to change their personality so nowadays not all citizens have many choices because some individuals like to live simple.
To infer, although this statement depend people choice in my opinion i partially agree with this because not everyone have too many choices some choose to live simple but some love to look different for that nowadays people have various choices.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall response by saying, “I partially agree,” and you acknowledge both people who seek variety and those who prefer a simple, familiar lifestyle. This is relevant to the question, but the discussion only partly explains whether society has too many choices. The points about social media, changing personality, and choosing clothes are repeated and do not clearly show how these choices become excessive or why that is a problem. The example of older people keeping the same preferences is also asserted rather than illustrated. To develop the response, explain what “too many choices” means in a specific area, such as shopping or career options, and support each main point with a concrete example and a clearer link to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the conclusion returns to your partial agreement. However, progression within the first body paragraph is difficult to follow because several ideas about social media, changing personality, being different, and clothing are joined together without clear explanation. Repeated phrases such as “another reason” and “for that” make the links mechanical, while some references, including “them,” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it in a logical sequence, and use more precise linking and referencing so the reader can follow how each example supports your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “influence,” “personality,” “unique,” and “live simple,” and the reader can generally identify your intended ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “choices,” “change,” and “personality.” Some expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “grey generation,” “centre of attraction,” and “change their self,” which can make the meaning less clear. Aim to use more precise topic vocabulary and check common collocations and word forms. For example, you could describe people as “older generations,” say they “seek attention,” and explain that they “alter their preferences” rather than repeatedly saying they change themselves.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the contrast between the two body paragraphs shows an effort to organise ideas using more than one sentence pattern. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. Examples include “people wants,” “individuals influence by social media,” and “my views … will be examine below.” Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, as in the lowercase “i” and the comma splice in the introduction. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar. Proofread specifically for agreement and verb forms.
