Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some individual consider that in recent days we have too many

choices.

I strongly agree with this statement and I will explain it with the help of two valid reasons in the forthcoming program.

To commence with, nowadays people have numerous choices such as there are many feilds. By going with these feilds we have too much opportunities ahead in the future.Medical and engineer feild which give students more ways to go ahead in life. here are also some other feilds like IT computer. This is the era of computer and the knowledge of computer become very useful. To illustrate with, the university of cambridge investigate that in this period students have more choice to choose and become successful in next life.

On the other hand, more ways create a confusion among students what is best for them. It create confusion like every feild is crucial and the interest of these feild make them more disturb about the choices. To elaborate with, the university of education tells us about the disadvantages of having much more choices. To result of, there is a lack of guidance to students about different feilds.

In conclusion, i strongly beleive that in every feild there is a guidance to students about this feild. guidance help students to acheive their goal.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear position—“I strongly agree”—and give two relevant points: wider educational and career options, and the confusion that too many options can create. However, the response only partially develops these ideas. The examples about medical, engineering and computer fields are listed rather than explained, and the references to Cambridge and the “university of education” are vague and do not clearly support your claims. Your conclusion also shifts toward saying students need guidance, rather than directly resolving how far you agree that there are too many choices. The response is 214 words, below the required 250, so there is limited space to explain and support your reasons. Develop each point with a specific example and a clearer link to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic essay structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To commence with” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify your main points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first paragraph moves from career fields to computer knowledge and then to an unsupported university claim, while the second moves from confusion to guidance without fully connecting the ideas. Some linking phrases, including “To illustrate with” and “To result of,” are inaccurate or awkward, and “here” in “here are also some other fields” has an unclear reference. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, explain it step by step, and use simpler, accurate transitions to make the relationships between ideas clearer.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “choices,” “opportunities,” “guidance,” “interest,” and “achieve their goal,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “choices,” “fields,” and “confusion.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “feilds,” “beleive,” and “disturb,” as well as unnatural expressions like “forthcoming program” and “more ways to go ahead in life.” These choices sometimes make the meaning less precise. Build a small set of accurate phrases for discussing education and decision-making, and check spelling and collocations. For example, “career options” and “feel uncertain about” would express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries. For example, “Some individual consider” needs plural agreement, while “It create confusion” also has a subject–verb agreement error. In “the knowledge of computer become very useful,” the verb form and article use are inaccurate. Several sentences run together, as in “...in the future.Medical and engineer feild,” and the conclusion has incomplete or unclear sentence construction. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns first, then combine related ideas with conjunctions and correct punctuation. Proofreading for full stops and capital letters will also improve readability.
