Student answer (Band 5.0)
As far as this topic is concerned, I would like to say that people have multiple choices nowadays has always been debatable and now has become more controversial with some people believe that we have too many choices while others reject this notion.
The substantial influence of this trend has sparked the controversy over the potential impact in recent years. From my perspective the former proposition appears to be more rational.
Some people believe that nowadays we people have too many choices in every field of life because of vast and global world with different kind of options while on the other hand other people think opposite that people do not have multiple options in life.
Both approaches have their on advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of arguments and draw conclusion.
If we discuss the former argument, no doubt they people take world as a global village and have the easy access to the resources. For instance some people are wealthy and economically stable and get things without any difficulty.
on the other hand, some people think that we have not too much choices in life because of inflation, poverty and non-development. Actual reason behind this perceptive is that people belongs to backward area and non-development regions so they do not have good exposure in life due to that they think like this.
In short, I would like to appeal to the learned figures to come forward and focus their gaze to this issue and launch the vigorous campaign to reform across the society globally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a position—“the former proposition appears to be more rational”—and recognise that people’s circumstances differ, mentioning wealth, inflation, poverty and underdevelopment. However, the response only partially answers the question: it does not clearly explain why having many choices is excessive or what consequences this creates. The discussion of wealthy people getting things easily is too general to support your view, and the opposing perspective is described rather than weighed against your position. The final appeal for a campaign does not follow from the argument or provide a clear conclusion. Develop one or two relevant reasons, explain their effects, and use a specific example to show why you agree or disagree with the statement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a closing paragraph, and phrases such as “For instance” and “on the other hand” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow: the opening repeats the debate, the next paragraph introduces a broad claim about controversy, and the essay then promises to discuss both sides without organising that discussion clearly. Some links are inaccurate or mechanical, and the shift from discussing choices to appealing for a campaign is abrupt. Paragraphing does not consistently separate a developed reason from its explanation and example. Plan a clear sequence—position, reason, explanation, example, and conclusion—and use references and linking phrases only where they clarify the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related and formal vocabulary, including “global village,” “economically stable,” “inflation,” and “exposure.” This gives you some ability to discuss differences in people’s circumstances. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “the former proposition,” “learned figures,” “focus their gaze,” and “reform across the society globally.” Repetition of “people,” “choices,” and “think” also limits flexibility, while phrases such as “vast and global world” do not express a precise idea. Aim for clear, natural collocations rather than formal-sounding expressions. For example, describe “unequal access to options” or “financial constraints,” then use vocabulary that directly supports your argument about whether choice is excessive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast between people who have many options and those who do not. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “people have multiple choices nowadays has always been debatable,” “with some people believe,” and “people belongs to backward area.” There are also problems with articles, plurals and punctuation, such as “different kind of options” and the lowercase start of “on the other hand.” These patterns show that sentence control is not yet consistent. Practise building accurate clauses with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
