Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is thought by some individuals that in these days they have numerous number of choices. In my openion, I believe that people can have many choices nowadays in term of job opportunities and investment.
Firstly, A good reason to justify my opinion is that people can have multiple options whether to do a job or make an investment due to the fact that modern technology has made everything easy to guide people and advise them what to do. For instance, people get hepl from artificial intelligent either about jobs to find, or to learn any skill online so they can earn money using it. secondly there is also an opportunity to work from home online.for example ,to offer services through freelancing.these days many people in pakistan make money through freelancing.
Thirdly, Citizens also have another option to invest money if they dont want to do work. they can invest their money in different applications and can get the profit, to illustrate people can buy and sell digital currency online. Moreover people also have a choice to consider by making short video clips and posting it on social media, it can be personal content or other informational content. In many countries people do it and make a respectable sallery. in addition to people have got a choice to become a sport person, for instance in football and play league matches.
To sum up, Some people think they have too many options, they say they can have multiple jobs opportunities and money investment options as well as they showcase their skill online and i agree with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is identifiable: you agree that people have many choices, especially in employment and investment. The examples of freelancing, online learning, digital currency and social-media content are relevant to the topic. However, the response addresses the question only partially because it mainly lists examples rather than explaining whether these choices are excessive or how they affect people. The opening also says “in my opinion” but does not clearly state the extent of your agreement, and the conclusion mostly repeats the examples. Develop one or two central reasons—for example, whether greater choice creates opportunity or makes decisions harder—and explain each with a specific example. This would make your position clearer and your ideas more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Moreover” and “To sum up” help readers recognise the stages of your answer. However, progression within the body is not always clear: the discussion moves from jobs to investment, then social-media videos and sport without explaining how each point supports the claim that there are too many choices. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, such as “Thirdly” after “secondly” and “in addition to” before a new example. Paragraphing also groups several distinct ideas together. Organise the body around two clear reasons, use each paragraph to develop one reason, and connect examples explicitly to your argument. Clearer referencing and fewer formulaic transitions would improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate several relevant examples, including “job opportunities,” “investment,” “freelancing,” “digital currency” and “social media.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “offer services” and “league matches.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, which can make the meaning less natural: “numerous number of choices,” “artificial intelligent,” “make a respectable sallery” and “sport person.” Spelling and word-form errors also occur, including “openion,” “hepl” and “dont.” Aim to learn common collocations as complete phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary for discussing choice and its effects would also help you explain your position.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause with “due to the fact that” and examples introduced by “For instance.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure, but the range remains limited and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “people can have multiple options whether to do a job or make an investment” has an unclear grammatical construction, while “people also have a choice to consider by making short video clips” is difficult to follow. Errors also appear in articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “a respectable sallery” and “posting it,” where the reference is unclear. Review sentence boundaries, subject–verb agreement and article use, then build longer sentences around one clear main clause. Punctuation and capitalisation need more consistent control.
