Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear overall view in the introduction and conclusion: you disagree that people have too many choices. You also give relevant areas, including shopping and online education, and acknowledge that many options can make decisions difficult. However, the position is not consistently expressed: the introduction includes a confusing phrase about disadvantages, and the main reasons are only briefly explained. The shopping example lists products but does not clearly show how choice improves people’s lives; the online-class point also needs a fuller explanation. The response addresses the question only partially, and it is 52 words below the required minimum. Develop two clear reasons, explain each one, and add a specific example to support them.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph about benefits, a paragraph acknowledging a drawback, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from purchasing products to prices and then online classes without clearly linking these points. Some linking expressions, such as “furthermore,” “As a result,” and “Therefore,” are used where the relationship between ideas is unclear. The introduction also contains a sentence that is hard to interpret, weakening the overall direction. Organise each body paragraph around one main idea, then use clear explanation and an example to develop it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “decision-making,” “wide range of choices,” “clear priorities,” and “temporary inconvenience.” These phrases show an effort to discuss both benefits and drawbacks. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “grater freedom,” “products easy to purchase,” and “personation freedom.” Some wording is also imprecise: the list “vegetables, dress, products, grosseries and non veg” does not clearly support the point. Choose accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and natural word combinations. Replacing lists with precise descriptions would make your argument clearer and more formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Although some people argue…” and a contrast beginning “However, this problem…”. This shows some awareness of how to connect ideas grammatically. However, the range is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make several sentences hard to follow. For example, “One important benifit of having a wide range of choices, furthermore people our decision owned…” lacks a complete, well-formed clause, while “by increaseing personation freedom” uses an incorrect grammatical form. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, including lowercase “i” and missing spaces after commas. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
