Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is now a growing concern that individuals now have a lot of options to choose, while I agree that people now have too many options for shopping that they can easily choose one or more they want to buy with the help of the internet and different platforms, I disagree with this because this choice or option is not in every case such as choosing a career or life partner.
On the one hand, we are in a technological advanced era and every single person has an access to the internet, the internet provides a range of various platforms where individual have a variety of different objects which they can choose one or more at a time. For example, a person wants to buy a bag they can check different one's but in case he likes two or more bags he can choose it and he can buy it without any issue.
On the other hand, choosing a career or life partner is limited. We can just choose one because it is not about shopping or something like that we have to choose very carefully because it will be very difficult or impossible to change it later. For instance, if someone wants to choose a career he does not have a lot of options because of his field he must have to pick only one. Similarly, this same process applies to a life partner we dont have a lot of options for it we have to choose one wisely so that we will spend the rest of our lives with them.
In conclusion, I agree that we have too many choices because of internet we can shop and buy different things simultenously, while i disagree that this choices and options are specefic to only those things we cannot choose our career and a life partner more than one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question and give a recognisable, qualified position: you agree that shopping offers many choices but argue that career and partner decisions are more limited. The examples of comparing bags and choosing a career or life partner are relevant. However, the response does not fully explain what “too many” choices means or why having several shopping options is excessive rather than simply convenient. The career and partner examples also focus on choosing only one, which does not clearly show that the options available are limited. Develop the reasoning by explaining the consequences of excessive choice and distinguishing the number of options available from the number a person ultimately selects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a clear basic structure, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the two sides of your position, and the examples generally follow the points they illustrate. However, progression within sentences is sometimes difficult to follow, especially in the long opening sentence, where several ideas are joined together. The conclusion also repeats the contrast without resolving it clearly. Some references, such as “this choice or option” and “this same process,” are vague, while repeated use of “we” and “choose” makes the links feel mechanical. Use shorter sentences, clearer references and more explicit links between each claim and its explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “options,” “career,” “life partner,” “platforms” and “simultaneously.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “technological advanced era,” although the expression is not natural. Repetition of “choose,” “options” and “a lot” limits the range, and several word-choice or spelling errors are noticeable: “different one's,” “simultenously” and “specefic.” Some collocations are awkward, including “a range of various platforms” and “objects which they can choose.” Aim for more precise alternatives and check spelling; for example, describe “a wide range of products” and “compare alternatives” rather than repeatedly using “choose.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “while,” “because” and “if,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, complex sentences are often not controlled successfully. The opening sentence joins several complete ideas with commas, and “a person wants to buy a bag they can check different one's” lacks clear sentence boundaries. There are also recurring errors in agreement and sentence structure, such as “individual have” and “he must have to pick,” as well as missing apostrophes in “we dont” and “i.” These patterns make some passages harder to read. Practise separating independent clauses with full stops or suitable conjunctions, and check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation when editing.
