Student answer (Band 5.5)
In modern era, it became the wide spread debate that people nowadays have so many choices for all the matters they are dealing in their daily lives. I agreed with this opinion, but the noticable thing here is in few areas our choices are getiing limited day by day.
In current era, the people having the variety of options to choose among them. If we just take an example of the technology, people have multiple options on the playstore to donwload app for a certrain use. If you want to watch a movie, you have the multiple options like you can download streaming app, you can find any online webiste, or search it on youtube. Technology alone empowered people to choose the convenience for their daily routine tasks among the so many available options.
However, availbility of so many choices has also the drawback of putting yourself in a confusing situation. For instance, if a student want to prepare for an IELTS exam, he or she can find a huge amount of course material on internet. It can mislead pupils to get the right choise. Other than that, having so many choices limit ourself in some other aspect of our daily lives. Like youngsters choose to spend time on internet watching movies and playing music rather than visiting their grandparents who are in dire need of someone to visit them.
In short, availability of so many choice brought a convinience in our daily routine tasks and in every aspect of life, the limitations of choices are the talk of the past.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people have many choices, while noting that choices are becoming limited in some areas. The examples of streaming platforms and IELTS study materials are relevant, and you also recognise a drawback: too many resources can confuse students. However, the response does not fully explain the opening qualification about choices becoming limited, and the point about young people choosing online entertainment over visiting grandparents is not clearly connected to having too many choices. The conclusion mainly repeats the convenience argument rather than weighing your position or resolving this contrast. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation and a specific example, and make the extent of your agreement consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The shift signalled by “However” helps distinguish the benefits from the drawbacks, and examples generally follow the points they illustrate. At times, though, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas are placed together without a clear link: the discussion of confusing IELTS resources moves to family visits without explaining how that example supports the same argument. Some linking phrases, such as “Other than that” and “In short,” are used, but they do not always make the relationship between ideas precise. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “variety of options,” “convenience,” “mislead,” and “dire need,” which helps communicate both advantages and disadvantages. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, as in “for all the matters,” “choose the convenience,” and “availability of so many choice.” Several spelling errors, including “noticable,” “getiing,” “donwload,” and “availbility,” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points, but they make the expression less natural and sometimes unclear. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, such as “a wide range of options” and “make a choice,” rather than translating phrases directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, including conditional phrasing such as “If you want to watch a movie” and a contrast introduced by “However.” Nevertheless, errors occur across the response and sometimes make sentences awkward to interpret. Examples include “In modern era, it became,” “the people having,” “if a student want,” and “having so many choices limit ourself.” These show problems with articles, tense, sentence completeness, subject–verb agreement and pronoun forms. Some sentences also rely on repeated “you can” clauses. Practise forming complete present-tense statements and checking that subjects and verbs agree; then vary sentence patterns while keeping each sentence clear.
