Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this modren worda there are soo many options for almost everything for some people. I completely agree with this statement cause, In this generation are soo many alternative company for almost everything thats comes with pros and cons.

Due to high compitaion in the market there are soo many small and midium size business or companies give same or sometime better services to people and make it afordable if company or business increase there price, making small profite yet grow over period. This gives people many choises to choose to there convenience without depending completely on one single option. In life as well there are too many choise like in which carrier to follow and which school or collage for studies, this gives some people to options to choose in life.

There are also some things where are no too many options likewise in election there are only 2 or 3 parties only to vote making minimal choise. I believe people who are above 30 years of age have less choise compare age between 15 to 25 cause they have already choise what to follow are have due that it will make them feel much hard to change what they are doing in life, like carrier, choosing whom to get married.. etcc.

In conclusion, I agree that for some people in there younger age have to many choice in life campare to elder people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear overall view—“I completely agree”—and give relevant examples involving businesses, education, elections and age. However, the response only partially develops the task: the discussion shifts from whether people have too many choices to who has more choices, without explaining in depth why an abundance is beneficial or harmful. The point about younger and older people is introduced but not fully supported, and the conclusion narrows your position to younger people rather than clearly restating your overall argument. The response is also 15 words below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain the effects of having many options and develop one or two examples with specific reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Ideas are grouped broadly by topic: market choices, life decisions, and elections or age. Some links between points are present, such as “There are also some things,” but progression is not always clear. The second paragraph moves from business competition to career and education choices without explaining the connection, while the third combines elections with age-related decisions. Repeated use of “there are” and “this gives” makes the linking feel mechanical, and “this” is not always a precise reference. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then use clearer transitions and explain how each example supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “competition,” “services,” “convenience,” “election” and “parties,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “choices” and “options.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “modren,” “compitaion,” “afordable” and “carrier”—and inaccurate word forms or collocations, including “small profite” and “choise to choose,” sometimes make the message harder to read. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe businesses as “competing providers” and explain that consumers can “compare alternatives” rather than repeating “many options.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if company or business increase there price,” but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently. Examples include “In this generation are soo many alternative company,” which lacks a clear subject and has agreement problems, and “people who are above 30 years of age have less choise compare age between 15 to 25,” where the comparison is not grammatically formed. Articles, plurals, verb forms and sentence boundaries also need attention. These errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and using complete comparisons such as “compared with people aged 15 to 25.”
