Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent times, when any individual want to purchase any type goods then they have many similar products are there than the indivdual have so many choices than this process many advantages and disadvantages.
From the recent times, if any people want to purchase any type of goods than there are so many similar products of different brands and the individuals have so many choices than this have many advantages such as when any type of person go to market to purchase anything than they have so many choices like they have choice that to take different quality in same product, to take different featues in same product, to take different design in same` product and they also have choice to take upper model of same product in same budget.
The people have so many chices this type of work also have many disadvantages like if we have more choices of similar product than we are confused to purchase better quality product and somtimw you decide to puchase a paticular product of particular brand but when go to market than you have so many choices in similar product than their have chanches that your mind settle on other brand than because of this some brands are flop in market and sometime some product maker stop make because of different type of losses.
In conclusion, in this present time people have too much choices than this have disadvantages and advantages both my opinion is that if the person have more choices then this have so many benifitial.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the topic by discussing both benefits and drawbacks of having many similar products, and your examples about quality, features, design and brands are relevant. However, the task asks how far you agree or disagree, and your position is not consistently clear: the introduction says there are “advantages and disadvantages,” while the conclusion says both exist but then states that more choice is “benefitial” without explaining the extent of your agreement. The ideas are also under-developed. For example, you mention confusion and brands losing sales, but do not explain when these outcomes occur or support them with a specific example. State your position directly and develop each main reason with explanation or an example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, one on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and the same point—that shoppers have many choices—is repeated several times rather than advanced. Linking words such as “than,” “like,” and “because of this” are often used inaccurately or mechanically, making relationships between ideas unclear. The conclusion also does not clearly follow from the discussion because it gives a positive final view after presenting both sides without resolving them. Organise each body paragraph around one clear main idea, use accurate links such as “for example” and “as a result,” and make the conclusion restate a consistent position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small set of topic-related words, including “quality,” “features,” “design,” “brands,” and “market,” so the reader can generally identify the subject. However, the vocabulary is limited and repeated, especially “so many choices,” “same product,” and “different.” Several spelling and word-form errors, including “indivdual,” “chices,” “somtimw,” and “benifitial,” reduce accuracy and can make the text harder to read. Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “upper model” and “some brands are flop in market.” Build a wider range of accurate expressions for choice and consumer behaviour, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the advantages and disadvantages without repeating the same wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences to connect ideas, but the range of structures is limited and these sentences are often faulty. For example, “any individual want to purchase” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “they have many similar products are there” combines sentence patterns incorrectly. Errors with articles, plurals and verb forms also recur, as in “any type goods” and “the people have so many chices.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention too, particularly in the long sentences that list several points. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “when,” or “although.” Check agreement and articles during proofreading.
