Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you agree that people now have many choices, and you give two relevant reasons—online services and globalization. The examples of ordering food and buying international brands help connect these points to everyday consumption. However, the discussion focuses mainly on how choices have increased, rather than examining whether there are “too many” choices or explaining the effects of having so many alternatives. The globalization paragraph also makes broad claims about travel and trade without fully showing how they support your position. To develop the response further, explain why the abundance is excessive or beneficial, and extend each example with a specific consequence for consumers.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around separate reasons, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall logical route through your argument. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Therefore,” and “In conclusion.” At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Therefore” introduces a broad summary rather than a distinct result, and the final sentence repeats the idea of more options without drawing the argument together. Some sentences contain several related points, making progression harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and ensure each paragraph develops one main claim before moving to its example and explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “modernization,” “globalization,” “transportation,” “international brands,” and “alternatives.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and the reader can generally understand your examples. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable, as in “convinient,” “famiouse,” “choises,” and “properity.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “a thinking,” “getting easy access,” and “making easy convenience” do not express the intended meaning idiomatically. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “consumer choice” and “a wider range of products” would also help you discuss the topic directly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “as.” This allows you to explain reasons and add detail, as in the sentence beginning “Globalization is making the world smaller.” However, some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. Examples include “I am agree” instead of “I agree,” “Technology is one of the most powerful weapon” instead of “weapons,” and “human are becoming upgraded,” where agreement and sentence construction are problematic. Several sentences also run together or have unclear clause relationships, particularly the long sentence about internet access and public wishes. Practise subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, while keeping complex sentences manageable.
