Student answer (Band 6.0)
Currently, a large proportion of the society believes that we have significant choices while critics argue that they are limited. From my perspective, I partially agree with both ideas, Although In some parts of the world you may find freedom of the decisions e.g. about your career and personality, many countries still lacks these options.
In today's world, many developed nations, people are enjoying freedom about the opportunities they want to discover and decisions they want to make. Additionally these steps can be helpful for many people to find out their passion and discover the new ideas. For instance in United States there is large number of billionaires are those who become successful by following their respective passion. Even though, many people enjoy the different choices, the people who lake decision making may feel depressed and pressurized. Additionally it may can also leads into choosing wrong fields.
Furthermore, In many developing nations and less modern cultures the choices of many people depend upon their parents and elders instead of themselves. So parents play vital role in the future of their children. For instance in Pakistan many families force their children to be either a doctor or an engineer. Moreover this approach can also been seen in decision makings about family and social interaction so the personal freedom some time feels limited.
In conclusion, freedom is the basic right of every living being but it depends which culture or society you are a born with. while the developed nations may have many choices, the possibility of a wrong choices are the higher. In contrast the developing countries like Pakistan may have the limited freedom however every parent to see their children to be successful.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question by taking a qualified position: you agree that choices are plentiful in some societies but limited in others. The examples of career freedom in the United States and parental influence in Pakistan are relevant and help explain this contrast. However, the response focuses mainly on differences between developed and developing countries, rather than examining more broadly whether people today have too many choices. Some points are also less fully developed: for example, you mention that having choices can cause pressure or lead people into the wrong field, but do not explain when or why this happens. Develop this consequence and make your overall judgement about “too many” choices more explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting contexts, and a conclusion. The progression from career choices to family and social decisions is generally easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “In contrast” help signal the structure. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in connecting ideas. At times, however, transitions feel mechanical, and connections within sentences are not always clear—for instance, the shift from freedom of choice to feeling “depressed and pressurized” needs a more explicit explanation. The conclusion also repeats the contrast without fully resolving your position. Use clearer references and develop the relationship between each example and your main argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “freedom,” “passion,” “personal freedom,” and “social interaction.” Some attempts at more specific language, such as “decision making” and “developing nations,” show an effort to express nuanced ideas. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “significant choices,” “freedom about the opportunities,” and “lake decision making.” These sometimes make the intended meaning less precise, even though the overall message remains understandable. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, “a wide range of options” and “freedom to make decisions” would express your ideas more idiomatically.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening with “Although” and sentences beginning “Even though” and “Furthermore.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas can generally be understood. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation recur. Examples include “many countries still lacks,” “it may can also leads,” and “the possibility of a wrong choices are the higher.” Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in the opening paragraph’s “Although” clause and the conclusion’s “while.” Work on building accurate clauses first, then combine them; review subject–verb agreement, modal verb patterns, and article and plural use.
