Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify a relevant general view: modern people have more opportunities, particularly in work, education and technology. The examples of students using AI and employees receiving help with assignments begin to support this idea. However, the response does not clearly answer the question of whether you agree or disagree with having “too many choices”; it mainly describes increased opportunities and their benefits. There is also no developed discussion of possible disadvantages or a clear extent of agreement. The response is substantially below the required minimum length, so the ideas remain very limited and under-developed. State your position directly, then explain and illustrate at least two reasons that address whether the choices are excessive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure: it introduces the topic, discusses opportunities in general, and then gives examples involving students and employees. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, the progression is limited because the second paragraph largely repeats the first paragraph’s points about more opportunities and technology making work easier. Connections between ideas are also basic, with repeated use of “and” and “also,” and the final sentence ends without completing the point. To improve, organise each body paragraph around a distinct reason, use clear links to show how examples support that reason, and provide a concluding paragraph that restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a small set of relevant topic words, including “opportunities,” “technology,” “career,” “students,” and “employees,” so the general subject is understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive, especially the repeated references to “opportunities” and work being “easy and simple.” Some word choices and forms are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “relative fields,” “assinments,” and “make career in it,” which reduce precision. Aim to use a wider range of accurate expressions for choice and its effects, and check spelling and collocations. For example, you could distinguish between “career options,” “educational pathways,” and “decision-making,” rather than relying on the same general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most sentences use simple structures, and the main ideas can generally be understood. There is an attempt to form a longer sentence with “so” in “the technology which make their work easy and simple so people work with full concentration,” but the clause structure and verb agreement are not controlled. Other recurring errors include missing articles and incorrect agreement, as in “people have lot of opportunities” and “technology also make.” The past-time sentence “In past decade people have not much opportunities” also has problems with article use, tense and sentence construction. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and consistent tense before submitting.
