Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a position in the introduction—“I agree with this statement”—and give examples related to work, business, and study, so the response is connected to the topic. However, it only partially answers the question because it lists choices without explaining why there are too many or how having many options affects people. The discussion also shifts towards education and skills, especially in the final paragraph, rather than developing the issue of choice. The examples, such as online work and going abroad, remain general and are not supported with specific reasoning. The response is 45 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your argument. Explain your reasons and illustrate them with a relevant, specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
Your response has an introduction, several body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph, and the reader can identify the broad topic in each section. However, the ideas do not progress clearly: the second and third paragraphs repeat examples of online jobs and businesses, while the final paragraph introduces education without linking it clearly to your position on having too many choices. Repeated openings such as “Many people” also make the writing feel list-like. Use each paragraph to develop one distinct reason, and connect the example to that reason. Clearer links between sentences and a conclusion that directly restates your view would make the overall progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “job opportunities,” “businesses,” “degree,” “skills,” and “online jobs,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the vocabulary is repetitive, particularly “many people,” “different,” and “choices,” and several spelling errors make some phrases harder to understand, such as “opertunities,” “develoiping,” and “artifical.” Some expressions are also imprecise, including “better skills in life” and “international level.” Aim for more precise language to explain the effects of choice, and check spelling carefully. Using a wider range of accurate terms and natural collocations would make your argument clearer and more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate mainly through simple sentences and make some attempts to join ideas with phrases such as “such as” and “because.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently. For example, “we have too much options” has incorrect agreement, “everybody have” should use a singular verb, and “education … it provide us” also needs a singular verb. The sentence beginning “Everybody should get education” continues with several ideas joined together, making the relationships between them unclear. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Building a few clear complex sentences, rather than joining many points in one sentence, will improve control and readability.
