Some people believe that nowadays we have too many choices.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

I believe some believe that nowadays we have many choices but i am strongly agree this statement. because nowadays has many different choices therefore hummans life is very easy compared the twenty years ago.

Some people believe that nowadays we have too many choices in our life because nowadays many advance manchines , modren cars , heavy machinary. Therefore, nowadays many choices and very easy beacuse 40 to 50 years ago peoply lifes very difficulty like not a possible in high speed tarains and travel to advance cars and not possible connection with other person. nowadays one person conection with other person very easy like vedio call, voice call , text message and emails. Recently Elon mask introduced the flip car this car car is very amazing.

Second reson is nowadys people believe that many choices according to 30 years ago this life is very easy. Nowadays many used high most advanced machines in our used daily life like motor bike , mobile phnoe one most advance artificial technology (AI) is used to in our life. Mostly people prefer in office and students because these very helpful for assigment and othes documents ready. For exapmle, nowadays ai used to making assigement for students and ready files for office and different departmants. mostly advanced machines used to governments departments beacuse its very helpfull different types of difficultes like nadra office , education syestem, and used to exise department used to online challan and other voilation.

Crruntly, my personal experiance is nowadays we have to many choices in our life. because some new products inroduced of advanced therfore people life is very easy according due to 60 years ago.

Basic linking words such as “therefore,” “because” and “for example” help show some relationships between ideas. However, progression is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from machinery and transport to communication and then a “flip car,” while the next combines AI, students, offices and government departments without a clear sequence. Repeated references to “nowadays” also make the links mechanical, and some sentences do not clearly connect to the main claim. Organise each paragraph around one reason, then explain and illustrate that reason in a logical order.

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “artificial technology (AI),” “video call,” “voice call” and “online challan,” which helps communicate examples from contemporary life. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “nowadays,” “many choices” and “advanced machines.” Frequent spelling errors such as “hummans,” “manchines,” “modren” and “assigement,” together with inaccurate or unnatural combinations such as “heavy machinary” and “life is very easy,” sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Choose more precise terms and check spelling carefully. For instance, distinguish between having more options and having too many options, since that distinction is central to the question.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas using clauses with “because” and “therefore,” and you include both short statements and longer sentences. However, sentence structures are limited, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty. Examples include “I am strongly agree this statement,” “nowadays has many different choices,” and “people lifes very difficulty”; these show problems with verb forms, missing subjects and sentence construction. Agreement and articles are also inconsistent, as in “these very helpful” and “one person conection with other person very easy.” Punctuation and capitalisation are unreliable, with several ideas joined into long sentences. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete verb and clear punctuation.
