This bar shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014. Thos ois very informative bar chart. In this bar chat i can see countries name listed on left side while the bars showing electricity on right side. In this bar it is clearly visible China being emerging superpower is leading in production of electricity but also with usage but still they are producing more than what they are using. While United States in on second, Russia on third and Japan on fourth. Then comes India , Canada , France , Brazil, Germany and Korean Republic. In this bari can see only Germany is producing less than their consumption while other countries are producing more or if not more than almost what they require, And this bar also shows that China and USA these more countries are producing more than other 8 countries even we add all of there productions.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the task by identifying the main features of the chart, such as China's leading position and the comparison between production and consumption. However, the analysis is quite superficial. The student lists countries rather than grouping them or highlighting significant trends effectively. The claim that China and the USA produce more than the other eight countries combined is an attempt at a key feature, but it lacks precision and supporting data. To reach a higher band, you should focus on selecting the most significant data points and providing clear, accurate comparisons rather than simply listing the order of countries.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The response lacks formal paragraphing, appearing as a single block of text. While there is a basic logical flow from the introduction to the body, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and repetitive (e.g., 'In this bar', 'While'). The transitions between sentences are mechanical, and the lack of clear paragraph structure makes the response feel disjointed. To improve, you should organize your report into a clear introduction, an overview of the main trends, and specific body paragraphs for detailed comparisons, using a wider range of linking words like 'conversely', 'in contrast', or 'furthermore'.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on simple terms like 'bar', 'shows', and 'producing'. There are several informal expressions and errors in word choice, such as 'Thos ois' (spelling) and 'Korean Republic' (which should be South Korea). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic terminology related to data description, such as 'surpass', 'outstrip', 'consumption levels', and 'discrepancy'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('in on second'), incorrect verb forms ('bars showing'), and punctuation issues. The sentence structures are mostly simple, with limited attempts at complex sentences. The errors are noticeable and occasionally make the meaning slightly difficult to follow, such as the final sentence which is run-on and confusing. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and combining simple sentences into more complex structures using relative clauses or subordinating conjunctions.
