The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This chart illustrates the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in the year 2014 . The country that was ranked number 1 for the production and consumption of electricity is China . China generated 5.398 billion kWh electricity and consumed 5.322 billion kWh . And the country number 2 on the list was United states who manufactured 4.099 billion kWh electricity while the demand was only 3.866 billion kWh . And Russia was number 3 on the list, it created 1.057 billion kWh electricity and used 1.038 billion kWh . An Japan was number 4 on the list who developed 936.2 billion kWh while the usage is only 856.7 . India was number 5 on the list who constructed 871 billion kWh and utilized only 698.8 kWh . Canada was number 6 on the list who make 618.9 billion kWh while utilized only 499.9 billion kWh . And France was number 7 on the list who formed 561.2 billion kWh and harnessed only 462.9 kWh . Brazil was number 8 on the list who developed 530.7 billion kWh while exploited only 455.8 billion kWh . While Germany case was little different because it constructed only 526.6 billion kWh while used 582.5 kWh . And Korean Republic produced 485.1 and used only 449.1 billion kWh .
