The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The bar graph illustrate the information about production and consumption of electricity among famous ten unions during year 2014 . In this graph the data is informed in billions kWh .

Overall, China and United state was on top for production as well as for consumption . Korea 's production of electricity is almost similar with the consumption .

firstly, Brazil, Germany , France , Canada had lowest production and consumption . China used a lot of electricity it was about 5,398 billions kWh but the consumption was almost same . Additionally, United States production and consumption followed by China its near about 4000 billions kWh .

Whereas India's production was 871 billions kWh but it used less then this it was almost 698. Despite, Canada, Brazil, France was good in production as compared to consumption .

Although Japan used 856 billions kWh electricity , production was almost 100 billion kWH more than consumption.
