IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The chart displays the best ten countries on the list which undergoes both the production and the consumption of the electricity in the year 2014.

Overall, China has showed the most of production as well as consumption above all of the mentioned countries while united states lye within this range with just a slight difference but Korea is the one with least production and consumption.

Initiating with the lowest rates we observe with Korea the other countries such like Germany, Brazil, France are also on the same boat with quite a minimum variation of some points. However, India, Japan and Russia varies about 50-100 of their overall production and consumption.

On the other hand observing the highest rates in both cases for China and United States the production is more then the consumption but with comparison with others these are among the highest rates for electricity usage and thus the provider respectively.
