The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart demonstrates the production and consumption of electricity in ten high ranked states in 2014.

Overall, it is evident that the production and consumption of electricity in China is higher, while the formation and utilization of electricity in Korea is lower. However, the data of all countries shows fluctuation in 2014.

Examining the details, in China the amount of electricity production is 5,398 billion kWh, the consumption amount was 5,322 billion kWh which was highest amount. Similarly, the production amount was 4, 099 billion kWh of the United states and 3,866 billion kWh of consumption in 2014. In 2014, Russia formed electricity about 1,057 billion kWh and used 1,038 billion kWh. Moreover, Japan, India, Canada and France produced 936.2, 871, 618.9 and 561.2 billion kWh electricity, while these countries consumed about 856.7, 698.8, 499.9 and 462.9 billion kWh electricity.

By contrast, Brazil and Germany formed 530.7 and 526.6 billion kWh electricity. Furthermore, these states used 455.8 and 582.5 billion kWh electricity. In 2014, Korea produced 485.1 billion kWh and consumed 449.5 billion kWh electricity, which was the lowest amount.
