The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The bar graph illustrates a comparison of top ten countries for generation and expenditure of electricity in 2014.
Overall, China produces more electricity and also consumes more then any other country. Nevertheless, Republic of Korea produce least and also consumed least of electricity in top 10 countries.
China and US are far ahead of any other countries in consumption and production. As, in China the production of electricity is 5398 billion kwh. However, consumption is around 5322 billion kwh. Its consider as number one rank. Its means they used well for their population. The production in US is 4099 billion kwh and consumption is 3866 billion kwh. its consider as number 2 rank. Russia has also generate light 1057 billion kwh while its consumption is around 1038 billion kwh. Japan also produce light around 936 billion kwh and its consumption is around 857 billion kwh. The countries like India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany and Korea have more less generation and consumption then China and US
