The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given bar graph compares the electricity manufacuturing and usege among various nations in 2014.
Overall, it quite evident that China and the USA recorded the top position in both sector. In addition, the production and consumption almost stood at similar in Russia.
In detail, 5398 and 5322 billion kwh electricty was produced and utilised by China, which was highest figure throughout the period and foloowed by the USA at 4099 and 3866 billion kwh. The cunsiomption and production was almost similar in russia. The production was slightly higher in Japan compare to expenditure, with specific figure at 936 and 856.
Moreover, India accounted the 871 and 698 kwh electicity production and cunsumption respectively. Canada had a slightly higher electricty manufacturing and usage comate to France. The differance between electricity production and utilazation in Germany was negligible. The share of production in Brazil was 530 and utilization is quite less.
