So now we summarize the total consumption of the electricity of these countries by understand and taking overview from the below giving bar. Now we talk about the world largest country in producing electricity is china which produce about 5398 watts but they also used their 5322 watts of their electricity. The next country is unites states of america which produce 4099 and consumed about 3866 watts. So the next one is russia who generating about 1057 watts but also used 1038 watts. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the task by identifying the top countries for electricity production and consumption. However, the approach is overly mechanical, essentially listing data point by point rather than selecting and reporting main features or making meaningful comparisons. The overview is weak, as it merely states that production and consumption are 'almost equal' without highlighting the significant gap between the top two countries (China and the USA) and the rest of the list. Furthermore, the response fails to mention that the data is for the top ten countries, as it only lists seven. To improve, you should group countries by trends and focus on the most significant differences rather than listing every figure.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response lacks a clear structure. It is written as a single paragraph, which makes it difficult to follow. There is no clear progression of ideas; instead, the text relies on repetitive transition words like 'The next country is' and 'The next number in the bar is'. Cohesive devices are used in a very mechanical and limited way. To reach a higher band, you must organise your report into logical paragraphs (e.g., an introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs for comparisons) and use a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use the same verbs, such as 'produce' and 'used', throughout the text. There is also an issue with word choice and register; phrases like 'Let's we talk about' are informal and inappropriate for an Academic Task 1 report. Furthermore, the units are referred to as 'watts', which is technically incorrect for electricity production/consumption (usually measured in billion kWh). To improve, try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to data description, such as 'surpassed', 'accounted for', 'a significant margin', and 'respectively'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'china which produce'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'they also used their 5322 watts'), and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'Let's we talk about'). The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, which are necessary for higher band scores. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct tense usage, and attempting to combine simple ideas into more complex, compound sentences.
