IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given picture illustrates the top countries of the world which can produce and as well as consume electricity in 2014.
This bar chart shows the usage of electrical power in top ranking countries. In addition, there are numbers that reflects how many billion kWh electrical energy intake and generate that decide the position in top 10.
Looking in figure in more details, China is the country that utalize energy about 5,398 billion kWh and same as it also create the power with 5,322 billion kWh that is highest number in this chart. On the other hand, Korea have 10th position due to less usage of electricity as compared to other states. Sonme countaries having moderate usage and production of energy that are Canada and France.
In the same period, United State also have grat figures of input and output of electrical power and stand up at second position. Mwanwhile, Russia and Japan also have great number but moderate as compared to others.
