The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar graph illustrates the ten countries higher in manufacturing and consumption of electricity. It demonstrates that china is on top of all countries in production and consumption capacity while USA is after China. However Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany, Korea are lower in production and consumption rate in billion kilowatt per hour as compared to China and USA.

China is the winner in manufacturing and consuming industry, it may be due to its increase in population rate as compared to other countries or may be the emmerging technology. On the other hand, USA is the second topper in this field in contrast to other eight countries in the graph.

There are solely Russia whose production is almost equal to its consumption while in Germany consumtion is slightly greater than production it may be because of its foreign debts polynesia.These countries have strong GDP then all other countries of world.
