The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates the information about top ten countries for production and consuption of electricity in 2014. Overall, it can be seen that China and United states produced and consumed a higher amout of electricity than other countries. Whereas Korea produced and concumed a least amount of power in given period.
Chaina had produced the largest amount of power with 5,398 (billion kwh) and it also concumed higer amount with 5,322 (billion kwh). United states generated the second highest amount of power with 4,099 (billion kwh), along with this it consumed secound highest amout with 3,866 (billion kwh). Russia had 1,057( billion kwh) of electricity production while it counsumed 1,038 (billion kwh). Japan recorded 936.2, followed by india 871. The canada recorded 618, while the figure foe the second category was 499.9.
