Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the task achievement score. While you attempted to identify some trends, the analysis is fragmented and lacks a clear, accurate summary of the data. For instance, the description of the 2007 data is confusing, and the overall summary is too brief to provide a comprehensive overview of the main features. To improve, ensure you cover all categories and years systematically, and provide a clear, analytical overview that highlights the most significant changes or patterns across the entire period.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5

The essay lacks logical progression and clear paragraphing. The sentences are often disjointed, and the use of cohesive devices is minimal or inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition 'Morever saw that five type of categroy'. The lack of clear linking words makes it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison between the years. To improve, focus on using transition signals (e.g., 'In contrast,' 'Furthermore,' 'Consequently') to connect ideas and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through the data.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is very limited and contains frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'diffrent', 'categroy', and 'jenarlly'. The phrasing is often unnatural, making it difficult to convey precise meaning. You rely on basic descriptors and struggle to use appropriate terminology for describing trends (e.g., 'downward trend' is used repeatedly without variation). To improve, work on expanding your range of vocabulary related to data description, such as using verbs like 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'peaked', and ensure you check your spelling carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('the'), incorrect verb forms ('given information' instead of 'gives information'), and fragmented sentence structures. Many sentences are incomplete or lack a clear subject-verb agreement. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple, error-prone sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and a correctly conjugated verb. Reviewing the use of articles and prepositions will also help improve the overall accuracy of your writing.
