Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to accurately interpret the chart. The introduction misidentifies the subject as 'earning money from renting accommodation' rather than household income. Furthermore, the data reporting is frequently inaccurate; for example, the claim that there was 'no any changes' in the 50,000-74,999 category is contradicted by the visual evidence of the bars. The overview is vague and does not clearly highlight the main trends or significant differences between the years. The response lacks a clear focus on the key features of the data, leading to a confusing presentation of the information.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While some cohesive devices like 'Overall', 'Initialy', and 'Moreover' are used, they are often placed awkwardly or do not effectively link the ideas. The referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison of data points across the three years. The paragraphing is present but does not serve to group information logically, as the data points are presented in a somewhat disjointed manner.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and contains significant errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'accomadation', 'earing', and 'housholds'. The student struggles to use precise terminology related to data description (e.g., 'earning money' instead of 'annual income'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to convey the information with precision, and the persistent spelling errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The response relies on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'The information given into US doller' (missing verb and preposition error), 'the majority annual income of households' (missing verb), and 'there was no any changes' (incorrect syntax). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of commas and the formatting of currency. These errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader in interpreting the intended meaning.
