Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 150 words, containing only 113 words in total, with 16 words copied directly from the prompt. The content attempts to summarise the data, but it falls well short of a complete overview. The reporting of main features is disjointed and confused, featuring inaccurate data points and random figures such as '30$' or '15%' which do not correspond correctly to the units on the chart. There is a lack of clear comparison between years and income brackets, meaning the task is addressed only minimally and tangentially.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response is organised into brief paragraphs, but information and ideas are not arranged coherently. The progression of ideas is absent, making the text difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, such as the abrupt transition 'On the other hand, In 2007 number of houeholds accounted for...'. Referencing between sentences is unclear, and the mechanical structure prevents a smooth reading experience.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, frequently confused by incorrect symbols or misread figures, such as attaching dollar or percentage signs to household numbers. There are several spelling mistakes, including 'Accorging', 'chat' instead of chart, and 'houeholds'. While the writer attempts some basic topic-related vocabulary like 'households', 'annual income', and 'figure', the limitations in word choice and numerous inaccuracies strain the reader and restrict the range to a basic level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The grammatical structures are extremely limited, consisting mostly of fragmented or poorly formed simple sentences with frequent missing verbs and articles, such as 'the lowest number in two thousand eleven' and 'number of houeholds accounted for'. There is a lack of complex sentence forms, and frequent errors in basic sentence construction, prepositions, and punctuation cause noticeable difficulty for the reader throughout the text.
