Student answer (Band 6.0)
In todays world everything need practical knowledge to do something .So for that there has to be important that in school rather than just theory subject there are more of practical subject like Science and technology which actual one can implement and had a reason to learn and know more about.
There are a subject like history which indeed important to know what was all things going on through this decades .It help us to know from where we got this thing and how much it develop till date .Stories about Maharana pratap ,Jasi Kei Rani ,about vedic ayurveda ,by knowing Chanakya we know from where the number zero came .So this all made oneself to proud of our culture and also inspire from this and motivated. But Practically learning this would actually not have any input in person daily working life. So for that one must more aware about the latest innovation which made there life more easy.
So I agree that knowing history made oneself pride but to make one history one must be updated and through about the Science and latest innovation as they can be very useful in the practical time .As innovation like computer so one must made hands on this from that each and everything one get to Knowledge even about the history of any culture.
In conclusion ,if a person is fully aware about what's actually available so using that theycan made something which make an history and recognise from longer time

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and the essay falls just short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which impacts the overall task achievement. While you mention specific historical figures, the connection between these examples and the broader argument regarding the utility of history versus science is not fully explored. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a more balanced and detailed analysis of the prompt's requirements. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and could be expanded to better summarize your position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression between ideas is sometimes disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is basic and occasionally repetitive (e.g., 'So for that'). Some transitions between sentences feel mechanical, which hinders the flow of the argument. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more naturally. Ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through your argument, and work on creating smoother transitions between the two opposing viewpoints.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'actual one can implement' and 'made oneself to proud'. Some terms are used incorrectly, which occasionally forces the reader to infer your meaning. To reach a higher band, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to the topic of education and technology. Avoid informal phrasing and ensure your word choices are contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everything need'), article usage, and sentence fragments are common. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like tense consistency and pluralization. Incorporating more complex structures, such as conditional sentences or relative clauses, would be beneficial, provided they are used accurately.
